Roasted Whiskey Caramel Apples
A fun dessert to prepare over the fire, especially in
the colder weather months.
5 Apples, cored & halved
1 Stick of butter
1 cup Brown sugar
1⁄4 cup Whiskey
Heavy whipping cream to taste
Place the butter and sugar in the pot, allow it to melt
and fully combine. Add the apples, cinnamon sticks and
whiskey. Cover and simmer for 20-30min. The apples
are ready when they are soft to the prick and the sauce
on the bottom is a caramel consistency. Serve with a
drizzle of fresh whipping cream and enjoy!
